Wa billahi-tawfiq!
AWRB,jzk for this. Has anyone been? Is it for adults too? I would love to do the hifth, but is it a full time commitment or can one do it part time, as I have a family to support too!
Wa `alaykumusalam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh
Yes, it’s actually mainly for adults and they’ve only recently introduced children’s classes.
Actually the institute doesn’t require you to come in everyday; you’re only required to come in either once, twice or maximum three times a week.
How does the Alex branch compare with the Main Branch?
Are there any quranic institutes comparable to masarawi in Alex?
Assalaamu’alaikum, I am a sister currently doing hifdh and am interested to attend this centre for ijaza and qira’at study at some point in the next year or two. Please can you provide some contact details for sisters studying/teaching at the academy and information about sisters classes? I can speak Arabic so even if they don’t speak English it is fine.
Wa `alaykumusalam wa rahmatullah
Abu Muntasir, I can’t really say for the Alex branch, but the institute is generally good due to their requirements when selecting teachers. But in recent times, the teachers have been told to take it easy on students so now they don’t carry out tests in the mutashabihat for example, and things are slightly easier.
Bint Amirah, you can join this FB group to get in contact with other sisters studying in Egypt: http://www.facebook.com/groups/407800482578633/ Generally, with most things in Egypt, you just turn up and join, even if you don’t contact anyone beforehand. The sisters classes are very steady-paced and usually happen twice a week.
assalaamu alaykum sis, jazillaah khayran for your amazing blog 🙂
just wanted to ask, do you have contact details for the alex branch?
also, are there requirements for the hifdh programme? can you enroll onto both the tilawah and hifdh programme at the same time? or am i getting a bit too ahead of myself..
Wa `alaykumusalam, Amatullah

Alhamdulilah, I have memorized the Quran with itqaan as well as Al-Jazariyyah and Tuhfah. I currently recite to a teacher who learned directly from Sheikh Al-Ma’sarawi.
Where can I apply to this institute? I want to go straight for the ijazah pprogram in sha Allah.
Jazakallahu khayraa
As salamu alaikum
I want to do full time quran hifz with begging in abt one and half yr
Does its possible to enroll in this institute and take everyday class so I can complete fI’ll quran hifz in abt 18 months?
Salaam i want to know, how long will it take to finish hifdh in the private class?
Wa `alaykumusalam
No-one can put a time on hifdh; really, it depends on the student (their effort, capability etc). The private classes are just to help you go at your own pace.
Salaam I definitely want to apply for the hifdh program
How do I apply???
Assalamu alaikum,
Please I need a contact as I am interested in bringing my children for intensive hifdh. I don’t mind having a private lesson for them
As-salamu `alaykum dear readers,
I get a lot of questions pertaining to Al-Ma’sarawi institute and I’d just like to say that unfortunately I don’t have the answers. I’m no longer studying there and haven’t been living in Egypt for many years now (and I definitely don’t work there nor can I get anyone in lol), so the best thing to do is actually visit the main Ma’sarawi centre which I remember was located at the end of Mustafa al-Nuhas street in Nasr City. Insha’Allah they will give all the information you need. 🙂
Salam, do you have to be a hafidh in order to attain ijazah or study the qira’aat?
