As-salamu `alaykum wa rahmatullah

“…Indeed, Allah has set a measure for all things…” [al-Talaq: 3]
Everything has a limit, even your pains and troubles.

So long as there’s another heartbeat, there’s always another chance.

Sometimes a person is cornered by life and they think that there are only 2 options: Fight or Flight. But they forget that there is a 3rd option, which is seldom spoken of. It is to simply face forwards and stand still – let all the events fall into place, and let the Decree run its course. Relinquishing your control is at times the best thing to do, and you begin to see Who was in control all this time that you’ve been stressing out…

Don’t feel guilty to have some ‘me’ time every now and again. It’s perfectly healthy to have a moment of seclusion to relax, de-stress, and ponder over what matters to you. As the righteous used to say, ‘Take your moment of solitude.’

In the end, it will all make sense. Just wait it out with beautiful patience.

The more the heart hears of it’s Lord, the fonder it grows. The more it remembers Him, the softer it becomes. Absence may make the heart grow fonder of the creation, but from the Creator it’s utter destruction. Don’t let that distance grow.

Don’t mock the sinner out of arrogance simply because you’ve failed to understand how he/she got there. Perhaps you’ll be put through the same trial until you’re made to understand out of humility.

Pursue the khayr (goodness) and you will be taken through doors to the paths of more khayr. For one deed can result in the descent of numerous blessings.

Promises are mere clouds, but it’s the rain that’s a fulfillment.
