Projects
There are several projects in the works which will be published in this blog over the course of time bi’idhnillah – some completed and others still on their way (see below). Insha’Allah it’s my intention to see the expansion and completion of these projects. Unfortunately, some may take a very long time due to the actual content (and my time/effort I guess!), others will be wrapped up pretty quickly insha’Allah.

Exhortations of Imam al-Shafi’i
This project aims to translate quotes, from both poetry and prose, and also possible incidents from the life of Imam al-Shaafi’ee, taken from the book titled ‘Mawaa’idh al-Imam al-Shafi’ee. The book is available here and topically covers quotes regarding ‘ilm and the branches of uloom al-shar’iyyah, seeking knowledge, piety, advice and in general the raqaa’iq (heart softeners).

Nuniyah al-Qahtani
This is a gradual translation of the famous poem written by Imam Abu Muhammad al-Andalusi al-Qahtaani [Islamic Spain]. The poem covers many aspects of the ‘Aqeedah of Ahl al-Sunnah as well as points from the different Islamic Sciences e.g. ‘uloom al-Qur’aan, fiqh, hadeeth and also history.
