As-salaamu `alaykum wa rahmatullaah
From the city of a thousand minarets, I wish everyone a blessed and a much fulfiling Ramadhan. Inshaa’Allaah I hope we can make it a month of true ‘Ibaadah and self-development, change and prosperity. The month of Qur’aan, siyaam, sadaqah, qiyaam and doing the khayraat has dawned upon us so lets seek out its treasures.
Allaahumma-ighfirlanaa warhamnaa
O Allaah forgive us and have mercy on us
Allaahumma anta al-‘Afuwwu tuhibbul ‘afwa, fa’fu `annaa
O Allaah You are the Pardoner and You love to forgive, so forgive us.
Laqad ballaghtanaa Ramadhan fa’tiq riqaabana min al-naar
You have indeed made us reach Ramadhan so free our necks from the Hellfire
Ameen
wa‘alaykumus salaam wa rahmatullaahi wa barakaatuh,
Ramadhaan Mubaarak, and Aameen to the ad‘iyah…
May Allaah subhaanahu wa ta‘aalaa perfect for us the blessing of Ramadhaan, help us fast and pray qiyaam throughout the whole month, accept these acts of worship from us, and forgive us for our shortcomings.
