Assalaamu alaykum wa rahmatullaahi wa barakaatuh,
Oh no, not the Ibis hotel again. Its so far away. I was there the other day.
How many people are they expecting?
Wa `alaykumusalam wa rahmatullahu wa barakatuh
Far away? Are you an east-londoner? Hmm… why do all the east-londoners say that when anything is remotely edging towards west! On a serious note, I do find it a mission trying to get my friends to seminars that aren’t in East London (their 2nd homeland)
Expecting as many people as possible insha’Allah!
Assalaamu alaykum wa rahmatullaah,
How did you guess? It is a bit of a mission. Like on the other side of the world. That hotel is used for so many conferences. I mean why that one when there are so many other ones (closer to east london)?
Wa `alaykumusalam wa rahmatullah
See! That’s what you all say, honestly like verbatim. Maybe we should move LMC to Southall or something… that would be nice.
So, anyone made it to the Shepherd’s Path? What do you think so far of the course?
Assalaamu alaykum wa rahmatullaah,
I would have thought that it was more reasonable to keep the location more central. That was it would be easily accessible to people from all areas but that’s just me?
I was not able to make it due to other commitments but it would have been good to be there. How was it?
So how many people did actually turn up? Was it was good turn out?
Wa `alaykumusalam wa rahmatullah
Yes, the policy is actually to keep venues to a central location but unfortunately it was difficult securing a suitable venue – and the best out of the lot was the Ibis in Earl’s Court.
Alhamdulillah the students numbered to over 500 (maybe 530), although more expected to come second weekend.
Assalaamu alaykum wa rahmatullaah,
So what was quality of the content like? I’m guessing it wasn’t like the type you get when you read a seerah book?
How does Shaykh Muhammad Al Shareef bring it to life?
… and what was the general feedback that the staff were getting?
I hope you don’t mind the interrogation.
