As-salamu `alaykum wa rahmatullah

The Messenger (sallallahu `alayhi wa sallam) said:
إن دين الله لن ينصره إلا من حاطه من جميع جوانبه
‘Surely, this Deen of Allah, none aids it except him who surrounds it from all sides.’ [al-Bayhaqi; al-Jami’ al-Kabir, al-Suyuti 34034]
If we wish to be the protectors, victors and helpers of the Deen of Allah, `azza wa jall, then we need to realise that our efforts are required continuously from all angles; be it in Da’wah, charity, helping communities to establish and progress, aiding the oppressed and removing injustice from the lands, etc.
From the great statements of scholars is:
من أصول الالتزام حمل هم الدين
‘From the Principles of iltizam (adhering to Islam) is to carry the concerns of this Deen.’
The true Nasir (helper) of Islam is the one to rise to every occasion, whatever the need may be and he takes on the burden because he took on Islam from the time his heart became alive and he took on a pact with his Lord. He sees the Deen as his sole responsibility and hence he does not merely rely on others. He carries its concerns upon his shoulders and surrounds it from all sides – caring for its well-being, protecting it and defending it. It hurts him to see the Deen of his Lord belittled, attacked or disregarded, and he finds it unbearable to see injustice, falsehood and sin become widespread.
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آَمَنُوا كُونوا أَنصَارَ اللَّهِ
‘O you who believe, become the helpers of Allah…’ [al-Saff: 14]
Subhanallaah, a much needed reminder at this period we are in! Jazakillaah khayr. I hope your time in Masr is turning out to be fruitful & beneficial.

Jazaakillaahu khayran for this timely counsel.
SubhanAllah
Assalaamu alaykum,
May Allaah reward you sister. What can I say except Inna lillaahi wa inna ilayhi raaji’oon. I hope the following ayaat will be of some benefit to all insha Allaah.
“Think not of those who are killed in the Way of Allah as dead. Nay, they are alive, with their Lord, and they have provision.
They rejoice in what Allah has bestowed upon them of His Bounty, rejoicing for the sake of those who have not yet joined them, but are left behind (not yet martyred) that on them no fear shall come, nor shall they grieve.
They rejoice in a Grace and a Bounty from Allah, and that Allah will not waste the reward of the believers.
(Ala Imraan 169-171)
…. When two parties from among you were about to lose heart, but Allah was their Wali (Supporter and Protector). And in Allah should the believers put their trust.
And Allah has already made you victorious at Badr, when you were a weak little force. So fear Allah much [abstain from all kinds of sins and evil deeds which He has forbidden and love Allah much, perform all kinds of good deeds which He has ordained] that you may be grateful.
(Remember) when you (Muhammad ) said to the believers, “Is it not enough for you that your Lord (Allah) should help you with three thousand angels; sent down?”
“Yes, if you hold on to patience and piety, and the enemy comes rushing at you; your Lord will help you with five thousand angels having marks (of distinction).”
Allah made it not but as a message of good news for you and as an assurance to your hearts. And there is no victory except from Allah, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.
That He might cut off a part of those who disbelieve, or expose them to infamy, so that they retire frustrated.
Not for you (O Muhammad , but for Allah) is the decision; whether He turns in mercy to (pardons) them or punishes them; verily, they are the Zalimun (polytheists, disobedients, and wrong-doers, etc.).
(Ala Imraan 3: 122-128)
On the authority of Ameer ul-Mu’mineen (the Commander of the Faithful), Aboo Hafs `Umar ibn al-Khattaab radiAllaahu anhu, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allaah sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam say:
“Actions are but by intentions and every man shall have only that which he intended. Thus he whose migration (Hijrah to Madeenah from Makkah) was for Allaah and His Messenger, his migration was for Allaah and His Messenger, and he whose migration was to achieve some worldly benefit or to take some woman in marriage, his migration was for that for which he migrated.”
Remember when Allaah parted the sea for Musa alayhi salaam.
Remember when He sent birds with stones to destroy the enemies who intended to destroy the House Of Allaah.
Remember when He made the fire cool for Ibrahim alayhi salaam.
Don’t forget the du’aa and dhikr insha Allaah for all of us. Verily Allah has power over all things. So put your trust in Him if you are really believers.
Assalaamu alaykum wa rahmatullaah
Wa `alaykumusalam wa rahmatullah
Jazakumullahu khayran.
Yeah sure, go ahead insha’Allah.
